When your work is your passion, it shows in the results. Husband and wife team Phillip Ingold and Billie Colley have been practicing their passion for architecture for the past 18 years. Their business, GPI Sustainable LLC, provides clients with top-notch contracting services for all of your home remodeling needs throughout the Carolinas.
The two met in the 1990s while studying at Kingston University in England, where Billie was a student and Phillip was involved in a study abroad program. They then decided to attend the UNCC School of Architecture in Charlotte. The business came about a few years later in the early 2000s.
Phillip and Billie share a love of design and construction that has lead to their creating some spectacular remodeling projects that modernize but stay true to the structure’s authentic roots and time-honored history. As Billie states, “We want to refresh the old while staying true to its time”.
Over the years the couple has worked on countless bathroom and kitchen remodels, and while they specialize in custom remodeling, they also work on light commercial projects and new construction. Some of this work has included a stunning his and her shower that allows the user to enjoy while being surrounded by nature (pictured left) and a fairytale-inspired home in Myers Park (pictured above). The couple tackles all of their projects, large and small, with innovation, creativity, and integrity.
When potential clients contact GPI Sustainable LLC, they can expect honesty and insight gleaned from years of expertise. During the introduction process, Phillip and Billie meet with prospective clients and listen carefully to the homeowner’s vision for the design. Once they have the right picture, the couple provides viable options and strives to educate the customer on what their project will entail in terms of time and financial contribution. Once the client is satisfied with the vision and clear expectations are set, the project is given the green light to move forward. GPI Sustainable’s mission is to be “on time, on budget, and on point”.
